Digital Content and Marketing Coordinator

About the role I Mō te Tūranga

Our Digital Content and Marketing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in driving our digital presence. Ensuring engaging, accurate and relevant communication, marketing campaigns and content is delivered to members and customers through our digital channels is key, with a focus on email campaigns and social media. In this role, you will:

• Manage the social media schedule ensuring it aligns with marketing and communications activities. Be involved in editing and writing engaging copy
• Elevate our email communications by managing the administration, building and scheduling of our emails, and offering your expertise to ensure best engagement
• Contribute to the optimisation of our digital channels and content to ensure seamless user experience and engaging digital content
• Unleash your creativity by contributing to visual asset creation/editing for our digital content
• Assist with editing, formatting and loading content to our websites
• Contribute to shaping and executing the broader marketing strategy
• Provide support to the Web and Digital Lead with their work programme, helping to execute a variety of exciting projects and initiatives.

With a sharp customer focus, you excel at communicating clearly and effectively—both in writing and in-person. You love learning new things, thrive in a busy environment, and have a keen eye for the little details that make a big impact. Flexible and adaptable, you’re always ready to pivot and tackle new challenges, confidently juggling multiple priorities at once.

The skills and experience you bring | Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako ka mau i a koe

• An relevant tertiary level qualification such as a marketing or communications degree or equivalent experience. 
• A minimum of three years’ experience in marketing and/or communications.
• Experience with social media posting and advert creation. Preferably with LinkedIn and Facebook.
• Experience with email campaign automation platforms and segmenting audience data. MailChimp experience is preferable.
• Experience with CMS systems.
• Experience with Canva or an equivalent graphic design platform.
• Experience with Asana or an equivalent work management platform.
