About the role I Mō te tūranga 

Our goal is to contribute to building a strong future for Aotearoa New Zealand, with a focus on governance and business. We are looking for a creative, driven and enthusiastic Marketing Executive to join our Brand and Marketing team. 

You will work on the development of campaigns and initiatives alongside the Senior Marketing Executive and Brand and Marketing Manager as well as supporting the implementation of selected campaigns for a range of IoD offerings.  

A key focus of this role will be to enhance growth, customer experience and engagement across a range of marketing initiatives and campaigns and provide creative support to our people.  

This role will work closely with our people and customers to ensure and maintain brand consistency and enhance brand awareness as well as creating campaigns/project briefs. 

About you | Mōhou ake 

You’ll have proven experience as a Marketing Executive and have a strong customer and member-centric focus. 

Your innovative ideas, people skills and marketing expertise will ensure the success of this role. You’ll love making things look and work ‘just right’ and have experience in implementing initiatives to drive growth of courses and overall customer experience. You will use your human centered design lens to better understand our customers and ensure our campaigns are hitting the mark.  

You will bring a calm, agile approach and have a good ability to prioritise and produce your work to time and standard. You will be keen to roll up your sleeves to work on a range of other projects as they come about and work collaboratively to support the great mahi that we do at IoD. 

The skills and experience you bring | Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako ka mau i a koe 

  • A tertiary level qualification in business, marketing or related fields. 
  • At least 3-5 years’ post graduate experience. 
  • Experience implementing multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns 
  • Practical experience with maintaining and working within brand guidelines 
  • Experience or knowledge of human-centered design & design thinking. 
  • Strong capability across the Microsoft Office range and experience using databases, CRM and technology for a variety of tasks.
