About the role I Mō te Tūranga 

Play a key role in driving engagement and brand impact for the IoD across Aotearoa

As our Marketing Executive, you’ll help deliver integrated, multi channel marketing activity that strengthens member engagement, lifts participation in our professional development programmes, and enhances the IoD brand nationally.

You’ll contribute to end to end campaign planning and delivery across membership, events and governance learning; craft compelling, audience focused content; coordinate marketing activity for regional and national events; support digital advertising; and use insights to continuously improve performance and impact.

This is a hands on role with real variety, ownership and visibility.

You’ll be an organised, confident and collaborative marketer or communications specialist who is motivated by creating meaningful connections and delivering high‑quality work.

You bring strong storytelling and content‑creation skills across channels—EDMs, social, web and campaign collateral—alongside solid digital marketing capability. You enjoy working with data and insights to optimise your work and enhance audience experience.

Naturally relationship‑focused, you work well with stakeholders across regions and teams, ensuring brand consistency and a seamless member experience. You remain calm, solutions‑focused and detail‑oriented, even when juggling multiple priorities.
