 About the role 

We are looking forward to welcoming a talented, experienced and enthusiastic good human to join our Brand, Marketing and Communications team in a role that offers a lot of variety and the opportunity to grow our research and insights capability. 

In this newly established position, you’ll support the Brand and Marketing Manager with research, data analysis and insights creation for a range of IoD initiatives.  You’ll understand our member and customer behaviours and trends across multiple touchpoints of their journey and help us understand the success of campaigns and where there are opportunities to connect in new and different ways. 

You will also be across market data and intelligence and provide insights and expertise for new campaigns, products or services for the future. 

You will working collaboratively with the marketing and communications team ensuring campaigns are integrated, cleverly targeted, engaging and on-brand for our diverse audiences. You will also support the delivery of specific campaigns and have the satisfaction of seeing a campaign through from idea to market activation. 

About you 

You're professional and confident and thrive on providing the highest levels of customer and member-centricity. You’ll quickly be able to grasp the business and market we operate in and be proactive, solutions focussed, organised and can effectively work independently as well as collaboratively.

The ability to analyse and interpret data and making meaningful insights from it will be second nature to you and well as developing and maintaining excellent relationships, effectively communicating and challenging the status quo.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • An appropriate tertiary level qualification in Marketing, Research, Design and/or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years’ post-graduate experience including market research and data analysis and campaign implementation experience.
  • An excellent understanding of analytical and survey tools.
  • A customer-centred approach to your work, and perhaps even membership organisation experience.
  • Awareness, understanding and respect of New Zealand's rich and diverse cultures and communities.

Role details

This is a full-time role based in our CBD Wellington office, just a stone’s throw from the waterfront. We offer a competitive package with the remuneration range starting from $76,000 depending on your experience. For more details on the role, please check out the position description.
