We’re seeking a Membership Advisor – Chartered Membership Pathway (CMP) to guide members through their journey to Chartered status and ensure every interaction is warm, professional, and memorable. Our Chartered Membership is a significant milestone within the IoD’s individual membership journey – a respected mark of governance experience, professionalism and commitment to ongoing development.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of the member experience – providing warm, professional support, guiding members through the Chartered Membership Pathway as they progress through assessments and milestones. You’ll also keep our systems humming, our data sharp, and our processes seamless, because great experiences are built on great attention to detail.

You’ll be a people person with a track record of excellent customer service in a professional environment. You’ll bring strong communication and relationship-building skills and a keen eye for detail. You’re comfortable engaging with senior leaders, naturally organised, and thrive juggling competing priorities. You’ll love being part of a team, but also someone who takes initiative, can work independently, and looks to improve our customers’ experience. Strong digital skills are essential, along with a positive and proactive mindset.
Experience in a member-based or professional organisation would be a bonus – but your attitude, initiative, and commitment to excellence are what matter most.
