TECT Community Trust 

TECT is a community-focused trust that provides financial support for local initiatives, facilities and events that bring vibrancy, connectedness, growth and economic benefits to the region. TECT’s transformational funding process brings life to grassroots organisations and large-scale multi-million-dollar projects alike.

They are seeking a Future Director to join their board for a 21 month term commencing in March 2025.

The successful Future Director will ideally have a mix of the following key attributes: 

. be motivated to learn about governance from a talented and experienced board of directors. 

· bring the youth perspective and view to board discussions

· represent the diversity of the Bay of Plenty community

· have a background and interest in investment, and/or finance.

· have a background and interest in community development and/or philanthropy

· be connected to and passionate about the Bay of Plenty community and it’s prosperity

· be eager to drive transformational change in the community through good investment and decision making

It is preferred that the successful candidate resides in Tauranga or Western Bay of Plenty.
